Some examples of recent actions and services provided by the APEEF: 

• Organising and managing after-school clubs (various sports and art classes for children taking place Monday to Friday) 

• Welcoming new families 

• Helping to fund specific projects let by teachers, such as circus skills, contemporary dance, visual arts, etc. 

• Coordination of the class representatives’ effort 

• Creating, printing and distributing the Jacques Prévert Parents Directory 

• Weekly sale of croissants and breads in the school court yard every Monday and Thursday 

• Organising fundraising events such as the Christmas Market, the Parents Dinner and the Summer Fair 

• Purchasing laptop computers for the CM levels 

• Managing the notice board outside the school gates 

• Organising various sales (eg cake sales, merchandising sales, etc.) 

• Organising the ‘Festival du Livre’ book sale.


The APEEF provides support and advice regarding school life organisation. 

The APEEF represents parents at the Plan Ecole forum and informs them of developments.

The Plan Ecole is a group of UK based education specialists (teachers, headmasters), parents, elected members organised by the Service Culturel de l’Ambassade. Its aim is to promote and increase capacity of French schooling (either through development of French schools or of French / English bilingual schooling) 

The APEEF helps families in need, and who receive financial support (mainly families whose child(ren) receive a French government grant).
