Management committee

Like the great majority of French schools located in foreign countries, the French school "Jacques Prévert" is a private non-making entity governed by local law. The Management Committee is made up of volunteers (mostly parents) and is responsible for the following tasks: preparation of the budget, approval of the accounts, future development of the school. The members of the Committee of Management are parent volunteers whose selection is approved by all the other members of the Committee.

APEEF is completely independent from the Management Committee of the school. The Management Committee appoints a delegate coordinating the relationship with APEEF. That delegate regularly attends APEEF meetings.

The school is linked by convention with l'Agence pour l'Enseignement du Français à l'Etranger (AEFE) which appoints the director of the school. The director belongs to the French Ministry of Education and is responsible for the smooth running of all administrative and education matters at the school.
