Finance

Apeef is a non profit-making association managed by parent volunteers. We are considering changing the status of Apeef to a Children Charity / Parents Association.

The main financing sources of Apeef are:

• The membership fees (£15 per family)
• Donations from families
• Profits coming from the sale of viennoiseries (thank you to the delegates! ...) that generate some £1000 each year .
• Our generous sponsors (who help to finance our directory, web site, events...)
• The year end Kermesse and our bi-annual evening party

All these funds are allocated to various educative projects that are supported by Apeef: circus, class outings, purchase of equipment for the clubs, anti-bullying conference ...

Apeef also manages a welfare fund designed to help families in difficulty and raised from donations given by school families.

Some recent examples:

• Contribution to the circus project in 09/10: £2500
• Contribution to class outings in 09/10: £1500
• Welfare funds 09/10: £1600
